To begin 2025, we were delighted to publish a Scripture course aimed at introducing people to the Bible, particularly those who have very little experience with the Bible, and those who may be afraid to begin reading something so large in both scope and significance! The course is free to access below.

We have chosen this year's theme as a way to enter into Advent, the Jubilee Year (with its theme 'Pilgrims of Hope'), and also to focus on the Gospel of Luke which will be read in the liturgical year ahead. We desperately need hope, and it is there aplenty in sacred Scripture if we only have ears to hear. 

In preparation for the 2025 Jubilee Year 'Pilgrims of Hope', 2024 has been designated a Year of Prayer by Pope Francis. For our Summer Scripture School this year, we explored some of the examples of prayer found in the Bible, specifically the Psalms, the Our Father in Matthew, and Paul's relationship with prayer.
