COURSE ARCHIVE
Over the past year, we've been working to improve the online experience of our users. As part of that process, we have been working to move away from our old presentations to a different video hosting site, which we feel will offer a better experience for all. As we make this change, we also hope to give our older courses a 'fresh coat of paint,' and match the structure and visuals of our more recent courses.
Unfortunately, in order to do justice to this task, the process of re-editing and re-uploading each course will take considerable time. Therefore, only our most recent courses (which we have already moved) are currently available to access from this webpage. However, temporary access to some of our older courses can be arranged on request by emailing support (Chris) using the button below.
If you're subscribed to our newsletter, you'll find monthly updates on the progress of the videos in the "other news" section.
In the meantime, we apologise for this inconvenience, but hope the refreshed videos will be worth the wait!

For the coming season of Lent, we have decided to explore the themes of repentance and conversion, words which are frequently noted when talking about the significance of Christ's life, death, and resurrection.
It is no small statement to say that we are living in unprecedented times. Our Summer School for 2025 explored the role of the Bible in such a context, focusing upon texts which can prove difficult for us to engage with.

This year marked our inaugural "Annual Scripture Day" in Dromantine, Newry, on August 30th. This new venture was a one-day event featuring a lecture from a keynote speaker and a number of workshops. The theme was "Reading the Bible" and explored the role of Scripture in the 21st century Church, and how we might better equip ourselves to hear, read, and engage with the biblical texts.
As the day included keynote presentations and workshops for participants, it was in-person only and not recorded. However, you can read through the keynote addresses from Prof. Núria Calduch-Benages on the dedicated page for the Dromantine Scripture Day using the button below.
In this year's Holy Week & Easter Scripture Course, our three presenters looked at how the idea of salvation is presented in the Old Testament, the Gospel of John, and in the writings of St. Paul.

In preparation for the 2025 Jubilee Year 'Pilgrims of Hope', 2024 has been designated a Year of Prayer by Pope Francis. For our Summer Scripture School this year, we explored some of the examples of prayer found in the Bible.

The theme of Jubilee was chosen as a way to enter into Advent, the coming Jubilee Year, and the Gospel of Luke. We desperately need hope, and it is there aplenty in sacred Scripture if we only have ears to hear.
We were delighted to begin 2025 with a Scripture course aimed at introducing people to the Bible, particularly those who are curious more or those unsure where to begin.
Pentecost is the climax of the faith year and yet somehow it can feel under-celebrated. What could be more important than the gift and the call to bring the Good News to the whole world?
