2024

Summer School

In preparation for the 2025 Jubilee Year 'Pilgrims of Hope', 2024 has been designated a Year of Prayer by Pope Francis. For our Summer Scripture School this year, we explore some of the examples of prayer found in the Bible. The course will take place online, and in-person in Maynooth.

Holy Week & Easter

In this year's Holy Week & Easter Scripture Course, our three presenters will look at how the idea of salvation is presented in the Old Testament, the Gospel of John, and in the writings of St. Paul.

2023

Advent

The theme of this year's Advent course was "hope." Each speaker gave two presentations on hope in the Book of Esther (Jessie), the Letter to the Romans (Kieran), and the Gospel of Mark (Seán).

The focus of the 2023 Summer School was "Unlocking the Bible: Keys for Understanding Today." We explored how one might read the Scriptures and to provide "keys" for encountering the Bible richly and responsibly, so that we may experience the Word of God as truly alive and active.
